On Saints and sinners! :-D

Hello Skinlovers!

Here’s a random thought popped into my head this morning.

I am not a Saint. And I never will be!

Not a single one of us can aspire to that (despite what the Catholic Church will try and convince you), but I try to be as much of a decent human being as I can.

So yes I will talk behind your back, that said, what I say behind your back I will also say to your face. As I always joke we wait until you leave the room, it is called manners. 🙂

If I talk about you it’s not being judgemental it is just simply trying to understand why you do the things you do, an analysis of situations and happenings.

Anyone who says they do not talk about others are, simply put, LIARS! You do talk, and you do so out of a basic sense of curiosity and an inquisitive nature which makes you part of that weird thing called the human race.
Do not say”O I never talk about others” Newsflash you do.
So all of you out there pretending to be so holy, quit it. YOU ARE NOT!
You are just the same like all the rest, fallible and human.
So go ahead and indulge just do not be MALICIOUS about it.

Gossip, rumours & Lies have a way of turning into gospel truth as espoused by weak pathetic and stupid people who run around believing every single thing they hear.

There is something called free-will, conscious thought, and informed-consent. God gave you a brain to analyse common sense so use it. If something sounds to weird and wonderful you put a question mark around its validity.
If something is really malicious and vicious, my suggestion is that you actually ask the people concerned or inform them that that is what is being said about them.
Many a time I have seen that people have been ostracised because numptys cannot diffrentiate between fact and fiction, so you inquire, see if it is a truth or not!
At least you can say “Hey! I heard this about you, just thought you should know!” and people will get upset by and with you. Of course they will.
But at least you have made them aware and they can either deny deny deny, or confirm said sayings about them.

We are fallible after all we are just human. No one can run around claimng infallibility for they would be prophets and Saints, insofar as we know no one has attained that level of sanctity.

A caveat, this doesn’t mean you should run around talking about everyone left, right and Centre. THat would be redundant, instead you should measure and weigh how things are, the situation you are in, and the company you keep. Because some good intended person will mishear you and misunderstand you and report the opposite of what you said as what you meant, a convoluted game of Chinese whispers if you will.
So always start your sentences with some of the following phrases:
“Rumour has it”
“It has been said”
“I heard”
“Unreliable sources”
“Reliable Sources”
Misunderstand me correctly now”
“I did not say this but was told”
You get the idea, always leave a back-door escape open because you will at some point be confronted by irate individuals, even if you have spoken the truth.

So with this little bit of advice I say get thee forth and have fun…Just Saying. 😀
