A hectic Thursday followed by an even more hectic Friday!
What can I say, it was a friends birthday yesterday and another friends’s farewell party, so I went to both. The first part of the evening went like so, driving to the farewell party an old codger who shouldn’t be on the road was coming out of a side and was waiting (unfortunately he was in the middle of the road and oncoming traffic) I swerved and bumped into a 4×4, the woman who was driving came out and looked at what had happened and said go with God, no damage here. I was so shocked, after all this time this was the last thing I expected to happen, I offered her my card and she was like no need. Imagine that people! Amman still has some decent polite people left…
I showed up at Rand’s farewell, and stayed like an hour, and then went to my friends birthday, and thank badness I did, a lot of her friends didn’t even bother to show up the effing bastards. So it was good we were there. They didn’t even phone to apologise, what is up with that, how rude they are!
It was a nice evening accidents aside, and the morning was good.
I went to bed at 04:30 and was up at 08:00, went to celebrate a friends birthday at Caspers and Gambbini’s nice nice nice, pleasant company. As we were leaving I saw Anas Shana3ah there ( Anas is the owner of Tasameem, a local design house that specialises in shoes, hosiery, playing cards, Narguillehs/ Hookahs/ Water pipes/ Hubbly Bubbly’s. We had a coffee and talked about business.
